Typical romantic Dutch painting with: mills on a river with a lot of activity with men and women and children on the dike and around the mills.
In the river are several ships and boats moored and fragments of a village or town are visible including a church tower.
The painting was once restretched, and is in a gold leaf frame of Flippo.
